With these Northampton townhouses, TDA brings the concept of dense, multi-level in-town living to Northampton.  We divide the house into 3 levels with a residential organization more familiar to urban settings: The ground floor is the most public, with eating and social spaces; living rooms and bedrooms/offices on the 2nd level; and the uppermost floor is reserved for the primary bedroom suite.

The kitchen balances classic Shaker-style cabinets with modern slab door drawers. The meshing of classic with modern extends to the black wrought iron pulls and vintage-inspired pendant lights. These elements are complimented by the bright quartz marble counters.

Each floor presents its own unique bathroom space with many modern design details, from the modern wall hung toilets to the hexagonal artisanal tiles to the soft warm colors of the painted walls. The powder room, with its fresh blue hex floor tile that washes up the wall, features a large round brass mirror and brass sconce.

The master bedroom suite’s open cathedral ceilings are illuminated with generous skylights while glass pocket doors allow for light to filter in from the open modern stair, which also provide total seclusion from the rest of the house.

These carefully selected design elements in these unique homes set them apart from other houses in the area. It’s a modern urban living concept in the heart of a vibrant small town.
